DECORATOR at Business Fest in Hungary
DECORATOR project was presented at Business Fest Szeged which is one of the largest, most exciting, and most important business festival in Hungary.
Business leaders, company owners, and key players from the city and region presented their most important challenges and achieved results on seven stages. HR, AI, and Industry 4.0 trends, wages and well-being, Future Factory case studies, SME management solutions, and interactive workshops have showcased the region's business future with data and measurable growth.
EDUPARK has presented the DECORATOR project by highlighting the DECORATOR model and the pilot actions that demonstrated the application of circular economy principles by following guidance by the New European Bauhaus.
The digital prototype was also presented as a new concept for the revitalisation of the riverbank area. The planned re-construction of the shipyard with outdated technology can make room for educational centre with modern facilities for vocational education. The lessons learnt within the DECORATOR project can provide incentives for new transnational cooperation in the application of artificial intelligence and virtual reality which will create new opportunities for skills development by lifelong learning methodologies.
The event attracted 41 companies that presented their activities as exhibitors of the event. Several companies visited the exhibition booth of EDUPARK and they showed interest in the DECORATOR project and the professional services that are provided to the companies and other stakeholders in the construction sector. The companies that indicated their willingness to follow the communication actions of the DECORATOR project were the following:

The event raised significant interest in Szeged because total number of registered visitors reached 1000 people. Successful discussions were made also with the regional partners in vocational education and training because they are important partners in the dissemination of the results of the DECORATOR project. The Vocational Training Centres from Szeged and Hódmezővásárhely were especially interested and proposal to share information was also discussed with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Csongrád-Csanád County, as well.
