“Transferring ESINERGY Solutions into Policy and Practice”

We are pleased to invite you to the fifth online interview organized within the framework of the ESINERGY project.

This session will focus on the transfer of project results and policy support activities, with the aim of improving policymaking and ensuring the wider applicability of ESINERGY solutions. The discussion will highlight how project outcomes can be effectively adapted and implemented at national, regional, and local levels, particularly in non-pilot countries such as Serbia, Romania, and Montenegro.

The interview will explore both downstreaming and upstreaming approaches—from enabling regions to access and apply transnational solutions, to integrating these results into relevant policies and strategic frameworks.

Special attention will be given to:

engaging new energy producers and prosumers through targeted activities,
matchmaking and capacity-building initiatives,
collaboration with policymakers and advocacy efforts,
and follow-up actions with governmental bodies to support long-term adoption of solutions.

The session will also present experiences from pilot activities and discuss how these can be scaled and transferred across different regions.

The interview will be moderated by Ms. Katja Karba, Project Manager at the Local Energy Agency Pomurje (SLO) – lead partner of the ESINERGY Project.
Our guest speaker will be Dragan Milutinović, Project Manager at the Regional Development Agency Eastern Serbia RARIS.
