ESINERGY Partners Meet in Beloslav to Review Results and Prepare for Project Closure

On 17 June 2026, project partners of the ESINERGY project gathered in Beloslav, Bulgaria, for the final partner meeting, hosted as part of the project’s closing activities. The meeting brought together representatives of all partner organizations to review project achievements, discuss final reporting requirements, and agree on actions that will ensure the long-term impact and sustainability of project results.

The meeting opened with a welcome words by Deputy Mayor of Beloslav, Ms. Denitsa Todorova.

Partners reviewed the state of play of the project, examining completed outputs and key achievements delivered throughout the implementation period. Particular attention was given to final deliverables, remaining reporting obligations, and confirmation of responsibilities and deadlines ahead of project closure.

A dedicated session focused on the pilot solutions developed within ESINERGY and their uptake by local stakeholders. Partners presented the status of Letters of Intent and Commitments, discussed the replication potential of the developed solutions, and explored ways to demonstrate the project’s impact beyond the pilot territories. The discussions highlighted strong stakeholder interest in continuing and expanding the use of the project’s results after its completion.

The following sessions addressed project management, final reporting procedures, and administrative closure. Partners received guidance on the preparation of the Final Report, financial closure requirements, and internal review procedures to ensure a smooth submission process. The consortium also reviewed communication and capitalization activities, assessing the project’s visibility and outreach achievements and defining final actions aimed at promoting ESINERGY results among policy makers, municipalities, practitioners, and other relevant stakeholders.

Partners reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that the knowledge, tools, and solutions developed through ESINERGY continue to support sustainable energy planning and cross-border cooperation beyond the project’s lifetime.

Following the working sessions, participants visited a glass processing factory in Beloslav, gaining insights into implemented pilot project, industrial energy practices and innovation processes.

The final partner meeting confirmed the successful implementation of ESINERGY and laid the foundations for the long-term exploitation and sustainability of its results across the participating regions.
