Fem2forests third project partners meeting in Freising, Germany

From 28 to 29 March 2025, the third Fem2Forests project partners meeting was held in Freising, Germany, hosted by the Bavarian State Institute of Forestry (LWF).

The meeting brought together project partners from nine countries to exchange updates, track progress, and plan the next phases of implementation. The agenda began with an overview of the project’s objectives and key milestones, followed by detailed presentations from SO leaders who shared progress reports, challenges, and results to date.

Partners also took part in a field excursion titled “Forestry in Bavaria from a Female Perspective”, which offered not only a professional insight into Bavarian Forest management, but also an opportunity to connect with two inspiring young women working in the field.

Partners engaged in productive discussions around coordination, evaluation, and the preparation of upcoming deliverables. The meeting concluded with a review of upcoming tasks, along with concrete deadlines for each partner’s contributions, ensuring continued momentum toward the project's shared goals.
