2nd partner meeting and SCOM meeting

Strong Progress and Active Cooperation at the 2nd FUNDA Partner Meeting

The FUNDA project held its 2nd Partner Meeting online on 12 February 2026, bringing together partners from across the Danube Region to review progress and plan the next steps.

During the meeting, partners discussed the achievements of the Baseline Study, the Good Practice Collection and the ongoing development of the FUNDA Collaboration HUB and Monitoring System. The national pilot workshops on human public services, green infrastructure and business infrastructure were presented, highlighting early experiences and stakeholder engagement in the pilot areas. Participants shared practical insights from the first national workshops and agreed on the next tasks for the coming six months. The session also included presentations of good practices from partner countries, showcasing successful examples of inter-municipal cooperation.

In addition, financed partners received guidance from the Interreg Danube Region Programme Joint Secretariat on reporting, the First Year Review and financial management. The meeting confirmed strong commitment among partners to continue joint work on improving governance in Functional Urban Areas.

The next phase of the project will focus on deepening pilot activities and strengthening transnational cooperation within the FUNDA network.
