Stakeholder Visit to the GeoNetSee Sensor Location on the Tisza River Dam

At the end of last year, GeoNetSee sensors were installed at the dam on the Tisza River, one of the three selected pilot locations in Serbia. This location represents an important part of the project’s activities aimed at testing and validating geo-sensor network solutions under real field conditions.

Recently, the site was visited together with project stakeholders, including representatives of GeoFE Geodetska i Projektantska Agencija and Public Water Management Company “Vode Vojvodine”. During the visit, the installed sensors and monitoring setup were presented, with a focus on their role in collecting relevant field data and supporting the practical implementation of the GeoNetSee concept.

The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with stakeholders directly involved in geodetic, engineering, and water management activities. Their feedback is valuable for further project implementation and for strengthening cooperation between research institutions, professional organizations, and public sector representatives.

The installation and follow-up visit at this pilot location mark another important step toward the successful realization of the GeoNetSee project activities in Serbia.
