Presentation of the IBC project at the 11th Austrian Tourism Mobility Day

The Tourism Mobility Day is the leading topical event in Austria for mobility and climate action in sustainable tourism. The Tourism Mobility Day is organized by the two federal ministries: Federal Ministry - Republic of Austria for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology and Federal Ministry - Republic of Austria for Labour and Economy and its eleventh edition took place at the Ferry Porsche Congress Center in Zell am See - Kaprun, Salzburg from 4 to 5 November 2024. 

 

The Trail Angels were invited by the organizers to present their initiatives and ongoing projects for sustainability and climate protection in outdoor tourism within the programme of the 11th Tourisms Mobility Day. This took place with a keynote presentation, a panel discussion and an own project information stand. In this context, the IBC project and its interim results were prominently communicated and more than 200 highly qualified conference participants were reached for the project. The participants were made up of representatives from tourism destinations, NGOs, research institutions, regional management and public administration and services from Austria, Germany and Italy.
