Second SCOM of the IBC project in Osijek

Osijek in Croatia was the location of our second SCOM Meeting

SCOM with an exciting all-round program!

The Inclusive Border Cycling (IBC) project meeting will take place from November 4-6, 2024, in Osijek, Croatia, and can be followed online at Zoom.

The programme aims to develop and maintain cross-border cycle routes, with a particular focus on supporting the involvement of local communities and disadvantaged stakeholders, while addressing the needs of both young and older generations. The event will also showcase the tourism potential of the region on an international level.

On November 5, the programme will begin with workshops and presentations in the conference room of Hotel Osijek. Participants will learn digital storytelling techniques and gain insights into the role of local products in cycle tourism. The afternoon session will focus on promoting cross-border cycle routes and developing international marketing strategies.

On November 6, a study visit will take place at the Zlatna Greda Eco-centre, where local communities and disadvantaged groups will be invited to learn about their role in social inclusion and in maintaining cycle routes.
