A Magical Night at Lake Bukumir

On August 26, 2025, the Secretariat for Culture, the Tourist Organization of Podgorica, and the Agency for the Management of Protected Areas of Podgorica organized a cultural and promotional event at Bukumir Lake, located within Komovi Nature Park.

In the heart of the untouched nature of Komovi Nature Park, a concert by the band Wider Horizons - Montenegrin Pink Floyd Concept brought together a large number of visitors. Surrounded by the park’s stunning landscapes, guests enjoyed an evening of music, local food, and drinks, creating a memorable atmosphere of togetherness.

A central part of the event took place at the traditional “guvno”, historically used as a communal gathering space. Recently restored and adapted for cultural use, the guvno now serves as a platform for events, bringing people together through art and tradition. A newly built canopy with benches and a table provided visitors with a space to relax and take in the panoramic views.

The aim of the event was to promote Komovi Nature Park and enhance Podgorica’s tourist offer, all while preserving the area’s valuable natural heritage.

This event was made possible through the Mystical Danube project co-financed by the European Union’s Interreg Danube Program, highlighting the international importance of both natural and cultural heritage.
