Opening of the Contact Point for the Green and Mystical Danube Storytelling Route

The Development Agency Banja Luka (PP5) has officially opened a contact point for the Green and Mystical Danube Storytelling Route, located in the Community Center of the village of Donja Piskavica, near Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of the Project, a section of the Donja Piskavica Community Center was reconstructed to serve as a space for welcoming visitors, promoting intangible cultural and natural heritage, and sharing stories about the myths and legends of this region.

In line with ethnological and museological standards for the preservation and presentation of traditional folk heritage, the Project also provided equipment for a permanent mini-exhibition showcasing aspects of the history and traditional way of life in the Potkozarje area.

Additionally, an Info map of the Green and Mystical Danube Storytelling Route has been installed, presenting the locations and names of all ten contact points across partner countries participating in the Project. Through a mobile application that will soon be launched, visitors will be able to explore each contact point virtually.

The contact point was established as part of a joint tourism product, The Green and Mystical Danube Storytelling Route, and serves as an entry point for visitors wishing to experience the natural and cultural heritage of this region in a unique and immersive way, as well as at other pilot locations in countries involved in the implementation of the Mystical Danube project.
