Consultation on the Transnational Strategy within the Mystical Danube Project

On September 22, the Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism of Romania organized a consultation session as part of the Mystical Danube project. The event focused on the development of the Transnational Strategy for the valorization of intangible and natural cultural heritage, aiming to support the socio-economic development of rural areas across the Danube region.

We were pleased to engage in meaningful dialogue with representatives from: Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration – EUSDR PA3 @Culture and Tourism - Danube Strategy, National Institute for Research and Development in Tourism @INCDTurism, National Center for Tourism Training @Cnit Invatamant Turistic, National Institute for Cultural Research and Training @Institutul Național pentru Cercetare și Formare Culturala, Călărași Municipal Museum and South Muntenia Regional Development Agency @ADR Sud Muntenia.

We were also honored by the participation of our partners from Bulgaria – Regional Development Agency with Business Support Centre for SMEs – along with stakeholders from the Plovdiv region.

The consultation generated valuable insights for shaping the Transnational Strategy and emphasized the ongoing challenges faced by the tourism sector at both local and national levels, underlining the need for common and sustainable solutions.
