The second cycle of storytelling workshops in Čakovec was held within the framework of the Mystical Danube project

After the successful first cycle, the second cycle of storytelling workshops for strengthening the capacities of local stakeholders from the Međimurje County was held on Tuesday, September 16, as part of the Mystical Danube project.

In order to position themselves on the new transnational tourist route, local stakeholders collectively contributed to the creation of an authentic story about the dragon Pozoj through a workshop titled "The Impact of Emotions." The interactive workshop brought together local stakeholders from the areas of Čakovec, Štrigova, Donja Dubrava, and Donji Vidovec, who, by designing unforgettable experiences, crafted the story of the Međimurje Pozoj and mastered storytelling skills to interpret this story to visitors and tourists.

The workshop was moderated by Dubravko Fijačko, an award-winning tourism expert and licensed interpretation trainer, and took place at the offices of the Međimurje County Tourist Board.

The workshop was conducted within the framework of the Mystical Danube project, co-financed by the Interreg Danube 2021-2027 program, which connects partners from the Danube region with the aim of enhancing the interpretation of cultural and natural heritage and promoting the development of sustainable tourism.
