Slava Sela & PlaceCRAFT I A Village Celebration and Community Exchange

Belo Blato, Serbia | 25–27 September 2026

At the end of September, PlaceCRAFT will join Slava Sela, Belo Blato’s annual village celebration, bringing together community exchange, local experiences and the next steps of collaborative work in the microregion.

The event will provide an opportunity for Bulgarian and Serbian partners to meet through a twinning visit rooted in the people, places and everyday life of the area. During the celebration, ideas developed together with local actors through the summer workshop series will be shared with residents and visitors, creating space for feedback, discussion and new contributions.

By becoming part of an event that is already meaningful to the community, PlaceCRAFT will connect international exchange with local traditions and everyday village life. The gathering will also support continued collaboration between partners and local stakeholders as the Belo Blato pilot moves towards implementation.
