SCIHubs
Enhance and develop research and innovation capacities across the Danube Region

The primary objective of the SCIHubs project is to enhance and develop research and innovation capacities across the Danube Region by creating and implementing Smart City Innovation Hubs in disadvantaged areas, like regional and small urban areas. These hubs will act as catalysts for adopting advanced technologies, fostering innovation, and facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technology for public and private use cases under the smart city/smart region
concept.
The project seeks to:
- Foster transnational cooperation and action to complement national and regional initiatives with innovative and coordinated policy planning.
- Pilot test delivery in the field of smart cities and smart regions, starting with specific target regions and potentially expanding to others.
- Connect the innovation chain around the Danube Regions, facilitating the transfer of innovation and technology.
