Transdinarica2 at the ITB Berlin 2026

From 3–5 March 2026, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia (NTOS) participated in ITB Berlin, the world’s largest and most influential tourism fair. As one of the central exhibitors in Hall 1.1, NTOS hosted the National Stand of Serbia, which served as a key platform for presenting Serbia’s diverse tourism offer to global industry stakeholders, media, and visitors.

A significant part of Serbia’s presence this year was dedicated to the promotion of the Transdinarica2 project, showcased as an integral component of the project’s dissemination activities. Throughout the fair, the Transdinarica cycling route and its development were presented to a broad international audience, highlighting Serbia’s role within this unique regional initiative.

As part of the fair and dissemination activities, project materials and route information were displayed, offering insights into key natural and cultural highlights along the trail. Special attention was given to the project’s mission to connect local communities, tourism providers, and travelers in order to foster sustainable tourism development across the region.

Participation at ITB Berlin provided exceptional visibility for Transdinarica2, positioning the project within a global tourism context. The fair enabled direct interaction with tour operators, cycling tourism professionals, international journalists, and representatives of national tourism boards from around the world.
