Establishing phenological observation and reporting in Danilovgrad (Kosić) pilot area

Kosic area is situated in Municipality of Danilovgrad in the central region of Montenegro. That is the 3^rdpilot area chosen for phenological monitoring and reporting within TRANSFER project.

Local farmer explained that the maize is indigenous, resilient on the drought. He was informed about the TRANSFER project and trained how to monitor and report about phenology according to the standardized protocol.

The TRANSFER Danube project aims to raise awareness of policymakers and the private agricultural sector about the possible consequences of climate change on agricultural production. The beneficiaries of the project and the groups targeted by it are the local and regional decision-makers in the field of environmental protection and agriculture, as well as people in the filed of agricultural policies and farmers.
