The Agency for the Support of Regional Development Košice (ARR)

The Agency for the Support of Regional Development Košice (ARR) is a non-profit organization established by the Košice Self-governing Region, with over 20 years of experience in supporting sustainable regional growth. ARR will bring into the project its knowledge on vulnerability assessment and nature-based solutions; its expertise in the creation of adaptation strategies in the Košice region, as well as in bridging knowledge, resources, and action to address regional challenges posed by climate change. ARR will mainly participate in SO2 and SO3 activities. In SO2 it will work on the creation of a climate inventory risk map, bringing in the climate-related challenges of the Kosice and its region. In SO3 will participate in the capacity building session on evidence-based policies. As part of awareness raising ARR will organise Climate Breakfast Club events. Throughout the 3 years of project implementation ARR will closely cooperate with SHMU, and various stakeholders.
