Introduction: The North-West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency

REGEA, the North-West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency, stands as a pioneering institution committed to advancing sustainable energy practices within the region. Within the Danube-ADAPT, we bring vital expertise to the project in developing regional climate resilience plans, integrating climate issues into spatial plans, executing development actions, conducting risk assessments, spearheading adaptation projects, and promoting nature-based solutions. The project team brings together a diverse group of experts, specializing in climate adaptation, including strategy development, risk and vulnerability assessment, innovative financing and social innovation related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, green infrastructure, and nature-based solutions.
