Successful DECORATOR SCRUM for Business Model in Nürnberg

DECORATOR project has reached an important milestone when the international team of experts came together in Nürnberg (Germany) at the end of November 2024 for the finalisation of DECORATOR Business Model as one of the key results of the project. It builds on the New European Bauhaus concept and brings circularity to the built environment of cities in the Danube Strategy region.

DECORATOR pilot actions will follow in 2025 which will test the developed model in practice by focusing on different parts of the construction value chain. In each participating countries, conceptual and speculative spaces will be set up where service design and art-based methods will be used to develop new understanding, meaning and use of places. The actions improve the building eco-system by strengthening the collaboration of the construction value-chain with artists. The results shall be disseminated in 2026 by local events and virtual exhibitions where artistic residencies shall be presented with the support by multimedia materials.
