interactive workshop: Think Sustainably – Build Responsibly

We are pleased to invite you to the interactive workshop "Think Sustainably – Build Responsibly", organized by the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade, as part of Mikser Festival 2025. The event will take place on Saturday, May 31, at Dorćol Platz (Dobračina 59b, Belgrade). The workshop is intended for students and young professionals in the fields of architecture, design, and technology, with the aim of developing innovative and sustainable building solutions through co-creation, artistic approaches, and Cradle to Cradle (C2C) principles. We will connect creativity with practical knowledge, encouraging teamwork, environmental awareness, and evaluation of existing solutions, as part of the international Interreg cooperation project “Decorator.”

Before the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures within the Mikser Festival design program "Next Gen Design", and during a joint lunch, exchange experiences with the winners of the namesake design competition – young professionals from across Europe. The workshop will be led by Professor Jelena Matić from the Faculty of Forestry, Director of the Design Zone at Mikser Festival and mentor of the “Next Gen Design” project.
