Building Bridges for Rural Innovation: REDASP Showcased DINAMIC DANUBE at the Interreg Danube Capitalisation Event

On 25 June 2026, the Joint hashtagCapitalisation & Networking Event of projects implemented under the Interreg Danube Region Programme and Priority Area 3 (PA3) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region took place in Belgrade, bringing together project partners, institutional stakeholders and regional development practitioners from across the Danube region.

It was a great pleasure to present the DINAMIC DANUBE project – Developing Innovative Alliances for Management, Innovation and Cooperation in European Bioeconomy – and to contribute to discussions on the future of sustainable rural development, bioeconomy and innovation in the Danube region.

During the event, REDASP Sumadija and Pomoravlje presented the objectives, approach and expected impact of the DINAMIC DANUBE project, highlighting its contribution to strengthening the resilience, sustainability and competitiveness of small family farms through innovation, digitalisation, mentoring and enhanced cooperation within the bioeconomy sector. Particular emphasis was placed on the project's integrated and transnational approach, which combines knowledge exchange, capacity building and stakeholder cooperation to support the long-term transformation of rural areas across the Danube region.

The Joint Capitalisation & Networking Event provided an excellent platform for exchanging experiences, identifying new opportunities for cooperation and promoting the transfer and uptake of project results across the region. The discussions confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation among stakeholders at regional, national and European levels in order to address common challenges and support sustainable and innovative development pathways for rural communities.

Participation in the event also enabled valuable exchanges with representatives of other Interreg Danube projects and initiatives, creating opportunities for future synergies, collaboration and joint actions within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region.
