Study visit Beltinci - August 25 - 27, 2026

🌱 DINAMIC DANUBE Completes Its Series of Five Study Visits!

We are pleased to share the successful completion of the fifth and final study visit organized within the DINAMIC DANUBE project!

🇸🇮 Hosted by the Municipality of Beltinci, Slovenia, the three-day visit brought together project partners and external experts to exchange knowledge, explore good practices, and discover innovative approaches to digital biotechnology and sustainable farming.

📍 Day 1 – Agricultural Innovation at AGRA Fair

Participants visited the AGRA International Agricultural Fair in Gornja Radgona, exploring the latest agricultural technologies and machinery, successful farming practices, local products, and livestock breeding.

📍 Day 2 – Learning from Local Businesses

Visits and presentations by ZRIRAP, Žipo Lenart, Jagodni kotiček, and B&I Beekeeping provided valuable insights into different small-farm business models. Discussions highlighted how farmers adopt innovations, but also why certain technologies may not always be suitable for their specific needs.

📍 Day 3 – Connecting Research and Practice

The final day included a presentation by the Institute of Agriculture and Forestry Murska Sobota, followed by field visits to Panvita's strawberry production and the ZRIRAP Eko vrt Beltinci.

💡 From Knowledge Exchange to Practical Solutions

With all five study visits now completed, DINAMIC DANUBE has reached an important project milestone!

The knowledge, experiences, and good practices collected throughout these visits will contribute directly to our joint action plan, innovative curriculum development, and upcoming mentorship programme, supporting small family farms across the Danube Region.

👏 A big thank you to the Municipality of Beltinci for hosting this final visit, and to all project partners, farmers, businesses, and experts who contributed to this valuable learning journey!

Together, we are building a more innovative, connected, and sustainable bioeconomy in the Danube Region.
