Meeting - April 24, 2026

On April 24, 2026, we held our regular monthly meeting. This meeting was particularly significant because MA/JS Senior Project Officer Stephen Jonathan Halligan attended the session. The occasion was especially important as we were preparing and submitting the first-year report on the project’s achievements. The general project overview was presented by Martin Žagar.

🔵 DINAMIC DANUBE is a 36-month transnational cooperation project implemented by a consortium of 17 partner organizations and 5 associated strategic partners from 13 countries across the Danube Region. The project addresses the socio-economic vulnerability of small family farms through transnational capacity building, knowledge transfer, and innovation uptake, with a dedicated focus on female farmers in less developed areas

🔵 The present report covers Activities 1.1, 1.2, and A3.2, which were planned for implementation during Periods 1 and 2, as well as the overarching Project Management and Quality Assurance workstream. The key achievements during the reporting periods include:
🟢 Activity 1.1 – Creation of the European Bioeconomy and Precision Farming Network: The network was successfully established and currently includes more than 50 experts across five thematic working groups, representing all participating countries. The five EU member states involved in the project, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, and Bulgaria, host the five Thematic Centers that form the foundation of the bioeconomy knowledge network.
🟢 Activity 1.2 – Development of the Joint Study and Action Plan:
National desk research was completed by all partner countries, while the consolidated synthesis and drafting of the Joint Study and Action Plan are progressing according to schedule.
🟢 Activity 3.2 – Success Stories of Operative Work Groups / Study Visits (M7–M18):
The first study visit was successfully organized in Croatia in March 2026.

🔵 Project Management: All governance structures have been fully established, while partnership agreements and financial management protocols are fully operational. Overall project implementation is progressing in accordance with the approved work plan, with no significant deviations from the planned timeline or budget. The consortium remains strongly committed to delivering all planned outputs on time and in line with the required quality standards
