Meeting - February 27, 2026
On Friday, February 27, 2026, we held our regular monthly meeting. The main topics discussed were the A1.1 deliverables, the progress of activity A1.2, and the upcoming study visit in Zagreb. More information about the study visit to Zagreb will be shared soon.
Regarding D.1.1.1 Three Network Work Reports and D.1.1.2 Five Capacity Building Materials Published by Thematic Working Groups, RIT Croatia, as the project lead, presented one example together with the guidelines. These documents will be shared with the partners along with full support. We find the process of creating capacity-building materials both exciting and challenging. Two documents are already available on our website, and we will now proceed with developing additional materials.
We are also very pleased that, in this process, we can collaborate with an RIT Croatia student, Lukrecija Novaković, who delivered a presentation during the meeting about her family’s small farm in Konavle, near Dubrovnik. She described the current situation not only of her family farm but also of the wider region. She discussed advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges, and provided suggestions and recommendations. More details can be found on our website. Lukrecija also proposed a draft survey that we are planning to conduct among small family farms across the Danube region.
This activity is also part of A1.2 and represents one of our action items in the process of developing the future curriculum.
As part of Activity A2.4 – Capitalization of Results within Existing Agri-Support Initiatives and Platforms for the Danube Area, we are planning our SCOM and part of a Bootcamp in May, together with the Culinary Trail project. More information will follow soon.
We have submitted the annual project report, received several review comments and suggestions, and are currently working on addressing them.
We have also improved our website and invite you to take a look of it in more details.
A big thank you to all the participants of the meeting, especially to Lukrecija!
