ASSOCIATION OF WOOD PROCESSORS “CLUSTER DRVO” PRIJEDOR – MEET THE ASSOCIATED PARTNERS (ASP) OF THE DRWO4.0 PROJECT 13/18

Association Of Wood Processors “Cluster Drvo” Prijedor is an associated partner of the project partner PREDA within the DRWO4.0 project.

This association focuses on connecting companies, education, information exchange, and promoting entrepreneurship within the wood and furniture industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It brings together companies active in wood processing and furniture production, as well as partners who can contribute to the development of these industrial sectors.

🎯 Within the DRWO4.0 project, DRVO-PD contributes through the following activities:

✔ Identifies and assesses the potential of the forest-based sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina (mainly in the Republic of Srpska), ensuring access to existing data from its network (SO1, Activity 1.1) and supports the development of the Transnational Action Plan (Activity 1.3)
✔ Supports the establishment of the Pilot Environment South (PE South) by communicating the needs and challenges of forest-based industry stakeholders in BiH (SO1, Activity 1.4) and encourages local stakeholders to engage in PE activities to improve their businesses through the application of smart and digital innovations based on I4.0 standards (SO2, Activity 2.1)
✔ Participates in three study visits during the project implementation to acquire knowledge and know-how on Industry 4.0, strengthening the association’s institutional capacities (SO2, Activities 2.2 & 2.3)
✔ Promotes the Transformation Model (SO3, Output 3.1 & 3.2, Result 1) among its network members, supporting them in improving their business approaches in line with I4.0 standards

Through its networks, expertise, and institutional capacity, DRVO-PD significantly contributes to the implementation of innovations and the digital transformation of the wood and furniture sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
