DRWO4.0 project presented at GoinGreenGlobal 2026
During the international design week GoinGreenGlobal 2026 (Faculty of Design, 26. 3. 2026), the DRWO 4.0 project was promoted through the distribution of informational flyers and a short oral presentations.
The activity focused on raising awareness of the project’s results and promoting the programme among an international audience. A key highlight of the project is the Transformation Model for the wood industry, which supports the transition towards more sustainable, circular, and innovation-driven business practices. Its relevance strongly aligns with the core themes of GoinGreenGlobal Design Week, where design, sustainability, and responsible resource use play a central role.
By connecting design approaches with industrial transformation, the model contributes to fostering greener value chains and future-oriented solutions in the wood sector. The topic of a sustainable wood value chain is also highly relevant for the design sector, as designers play a crucial role in shaping materials, processes, and product lifecycles.
Strengthening this connection further supports the integration of sustainability principles across both industries and encourages more responsible and innovative design practices.
