Digital Innovation Hub INNOVATE – INTRODUCING ASSOCIATED STRATEGIC PARTNERS (ASP) IN THE DRWO4.0 PROJECT 10/18

Digital Innovation Hub INNOVATE is an associated partner of project partner SUAS within the DRWO4.0 project.

INNOVATE is Austria’s Digital Innovation Hub for agriculture, timber and energy. As a non-profit association bringing together various technology centres and universities, it collaborates with Austrian SMEs in their digitalisation processes. INNOVATE develops digital and innovative solutions based on the needs of SMEs, which forms an important basis for the future implementation of the transformation model.

🎯 Within the DRWO4.0 project, INNOVATE contributes through the following activities:

✔ Supporting the functionality and impact of the Pilot Environment West (PE West) by engaging interdisciplinary stakeholders and contributing to mapping and baseline assessment activities (SO1, Activities 1.1 and 1.4)
✔ Contributing to capacity building through an interdisciplinary approach by connecting stakeholders from different sectors with diverse digitalisation needs (SO2, Activity 2.1)
✔ Promoting and recommending the Industry 4.0 transformation model (Output 3.1) among organisations within its network, encouraging its future application, adaptation and wider implementation
✔ Supporting the identification of Industry 4.0 best practice examples in the forest-based sector that will be presented during knowledge transfer within PE West (SO2, Activity 2.2), especially to stakeholders that have not yet implemented I4.0 principles in their operations
✔ Further strengthening its own institutional capacities and developing its business model through participation in DRWO4.0 project activities

With its expertise in digitalisation and strong connections with the technology and academic sectors, INNOVATE makes an important contribution to the development of innovative and digital solutions within the DRWO4.0 project.
