Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska – INTRODUCING ASSOCIATED PARTNERS (ASP) IN THE DRWO4.0 PROJECT 15/18

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska is an associated partner of project partner PREDA within the DRWO4.0 project.

The Ministry is an independent administrative body responsible for carrying out administrative and professional tasks and reporting directly to the Government. Its responsibilities cover a wide range of areas, including the protection and use of agricultural land, improvement of forestry production, forest management and protection, management of wood resources, forest exploitation, and afforestation of degraded areas.

🎯 Within the DRWO4.0 project, the Ministry contributes through the following activities:

✔ Acts in an advisory role during project implementation, providing expert and policy-level support (SO1)
✔ Participates in monitoring project activities and ensures the availability of relevant data needed for implementation (SO1)
✔ Supports openness and transnational cooperation by involving SMEs and other stakeholders in project activities
✔ Organizes bilateral meetings with project partners to explore the application of developed solutions and their integration into future development strategies (SO3)
✔ Participates in study visits and activities within the Pilot Environment South (PE South) to strengthen institutional capacity and gain knowledge on Industry 4.0 (SO2)

As a key institution responsible for managing the forest-based sector in the Republic of Srpska, the Ministry plays an important role in fostering industry development, strengthening clusters and supply chains, and supporting digital transformation in line with Industry 4.0 standards.
