Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Croatia – INTRODUCING ASSOCIATED PARTNERS (ASP) IN THE DRWO4.0 PROJECT 18/18

The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Croatia is an associated partner of project partner CEKOM within the DRWO4.0 project.

The Ministry defines strategic directions and develops programmes and plans for the sustainable development of society, based on the principles of a green and circular economy. Its goal is to drive the transition towards a prosperous society with a resource-efficient and competitive economy, while ensuring the preservation of natural resources and achieving climate neutrality.

The Ministry’s scope of work includes strengthening the competitiveness of the Croatian economy, supporting the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, shaping industrial policy, fostering the application of innovation and new technologies, and promoting creativity as well as the protection of intellectual and industrial property.

🎯 Within the DRWO4.0 project, the Ministry contributes through the following activities:

✔ Participates in events organised during the project implementation (SO1, SO2, SO3)
✔ Provides an advisory role in the development of the transformation model, in cooperation with the Lead Partner, to ensure its quality and applicability (SO3)
✔ Supports the identification of potential applications of the model in strategic documents, which is a key step towards the long-term sustainability of project results

As the national authority responsible for economic policy and sustainable development, the Ministry plays an important role in linking project results with future development strategies and in promoting the digital and green transformation of the forest-based sector.
