Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia – INTRODUCING ASSOCIATED PARTNERS (ASP) IN THE DRWO4.0 PROJECT 16/18

The Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia is an associated partner of project partner WIC within the DRWO4.0 project.

The Ministry is responsible for strengthening the international competitiveness of the Slovenian economy and its companies by creating a stable, predictable, and supportive business environment. Its areas of activity include industry, entrepreneurship, internationalisation, tourism, the internal market, the wood sector, and sport, supported by affiliated bodies and agencies implementing development policies and measures.

🎯 Within the DRWO4.0 project, the Ministry contributes through the following activities:

✔ Participates in events organised during the project implementation (SO1, SO2, SO3)
✔ Acts in an advisory role in the development of the transformation model, in cooperation with the lead partner, ensuring its quality and applicability (SO3, Activities 3.1 & 3.2)
✔ Supports the identification of opportunities for integrating the model into strategic documents, which is key for the long-term sustainability of the project

As a national authority responsible for economic policy, the Ministry plays an important role in linking project results with future development strategies and in fostering the transformation of the forest-based sector in line with Industry 4.0 principles.
