Vukovar-Srijem County – INTRODUCING ASSOCIATED PARTNERS (ASP) IN THE DRWO4.0 PROJECT 17/18

Vukovar-Srijem County is an associated partner of project partner CEKOM within the DRWO4.0 project.

Vukovar-Srijem County is a regional public authority in the Republic of Croatia, responsible for regional economic development, including the wood sector. It actively supports wood industry stakeholders in its area, contributing to their growth and strengthening their competitiveness.

🎯 Within the DRWO4.0 project, the County contributes through the following activities:

✔ Provides access to official data on the development of the regional wood sector, the status of the smart specialisation strategy, and future strategic directions, which are essential for the baseline assessment and the development of the Transnational Action Plan (SO1, Activities 1.1 and 1.3)
✔ Participates in the activities of the Pilot Environment South (PE South), particularly in knowledge transfer through workshops and study visits, with the aim of strengthening institutional capacities and gaining insight into modern technologies based on Industry 4.0 standards (SO2, Activities 2.1 and 2.2)
✔ Takes up key project results – the developed solution (Output 3.1) and the Action Plan (Output 1.1) – and integrates them into future development strategies, contributing to the transformation of the county’s economy into a digital, smart, and sustainable economy (SO3)

As an important regional stakeholder, Vukovar-Srijem County plays a key role in linking project results with development policies and in fostering the digital transformation of the wood sector.
