First focus group meeting in Hungary
The first Hungarian focus group meeting was organized on 29th May 2024 in the town of Lenti.
The aim of the event was to present the energy community that is currently being prepared and to discuss suggestions and comments from local stakeholders.
Representatives of municipalities, NGOs, universities, electricity grid operators and technical experts were invited to the event.
After the project introduction, small group discussions were held on the topics covered by the project, such as: causes of blackouts, network load, the stability of the energy network, peak load reduction, peak power improvement, strengths and barriers to manage peak power in the region, energy independence, energy community.
