ESINERGY Pilot Action in Slovenia

The ESINERGY project and the pilot activity of the Smart house in Martjanci lays the foundations for efficient energy use with a smart two-way charging station for electric vehicles, integrated into a solar power and battery system, which reduces the peak load on the electricity grid at the level of energy production and use, and thus also local energy use. In this way, we support sustainable mobility and local energy independence.

The project involves two Slovenian partners - the Local Energy Agency for Pomurje, acting as lead partner, and Bistra House as pilot partner, which already has an energy - independent building that includes key energy components such as a solar power plant and a battery system. In the context of this project, their infrastructure has been logically upgraded with a bi-directional charging station for electric vehicles, which further strengthens the integration of sustainable energy solutions and supports the goals of energy independence. In addition to technical innovation the pilot project promotes decarbonisation and sustainable development.
