ESINERGY Project Partners Meet in Lenti (Hungary) to Accelerate Uptake of Energy Solutions Across Europe
Partners of the ESINERGY project from 16 countries (Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Ukraine) gathered on 5–6 February 2026 in Lenti (Hungary) for a two-day transnational partner meeting focused on finalizing pilot solutions, strengthening policy uptake, and preparing the project’s final implementation phase.
ESINERGY project has entered final implementation phase, so the meeting brought together partners to align activities, review progress, and prepare for project closure.
Key discussions addressed the uptake and transfer of pilot solutions to non-pilot countries, including policymaker consultations, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy activities. Through interactive workshops, partners presented and harmonized their national policy briefs, explored governance and communication approaches, and defined concrete steps to ensure long-term impact of the project results.
The agenda also included sessions on project management, reporting, and financial planning, as well as a virtual study visit featuring insights into peak shaving applications in energy systems.
The meeting confirmed a shared roadmap for the final months of the project and reinforced the consortium’s commitment to turning ESINERGY solutions into real, sustainable actions across Europe.
