ForestConnect expert exchange meeting
Foster learning between partners with an emphasis on pilot actions
In order to feel real wildlife and take a good look which gaps we can fix so we can help in climate changes mitigation for large carnivores, ForestConnect experts will exchange their experience and knowledge, discuss new improvement measures and seek for more sustainable solutions for the human wildlife coexistence.
As a host, Montenegrin partners will guide ForestConnect project and associated partners trough National parks Biogradska gora and Prokletije, visit pilot sites Hrid and Hridsko lake and enjoy Ali Paša springs and Rapojana valley.

Departure from Podgorica airport; Transfer to Kolasin
30.09.25 Tuesday
Presentation at Educational corner in Kolasin, Greeting on behalf of director of National Parks, Marinela Djuretic and presentation on old-growth forests
Transfer to NP Biogradska gora
Walk around the lake, glimpses of old growth forest (UNESCO site)
Transfer to Hotel Bjanka (Google maps location)
Project partnership meeting
