IV.TusnadEcoBearConf
Between October 21st and 24th ,IV.TusnadEcoBearConf, the fourth edition of the conference dedicated to bears, large carnivores, and coexistence took place in Băile Tușnad, Romania. The event brought together 180 participants from 18 countries, including experts, stakeholders, and media representatives.
The ForestConnect project was actively represented at the conference with following topics:

Cristian-Remus Papp (WWF-Romania) delivered a keynote speech titled "Addressing Human–Large Carnivore Coexistence in a World of New and Unpredicted Environmental Uncertainties", which included a dedicated section on the ForestConnect project. He presented the project’s methodology and mentioned that modeling results are expected later this autumn, along with promising outcomes.
Participation in national, regional and international conferences is of great significance for project results dissemination and experience exchange. Not all activities are applicable for all territories, but a combination with some modifications will ensure improvements toward climate resilient corridors.
