GREEN-TEX Workshop for Reaffirming Circular Economy Principles in Textile Sector

In March 2024 the Green-Tex workshop gathered in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of 11 project partners from 9 Danube countries.

The workshop on " Reaffirming Circular Economy Principles in Textile Sector" was organized  to frame the Green-Tex principles of the circular economy  as a powerful model of production and  consumption, contributing to competitiveness  and the resilience of the textile and clothing sector in Danube region. At the workshop, which was hosted by LP1 SERDA and  facilitated by PP3 NATIVA , overall expectations from the project  were discussed. Workshop achieved that  all project partners familiarized and build consensus on circular economy principles, as well to  share the same vision,  goals and objectives. The workshop included  presentations of existing knowledge of project partners that the project capitalizes on, as well as references to Action Plans of EUSDR Priority Areas (PA) 8 and PA  10 and Green-Tex project contributions to these  Action Plans. Initial external communication activities were  launched within this activity, introducing the project  to wider audiences.
