From a Shared Vision to Local Action
What does better support for youth mental health look like in different parts of the Danube Region?
The Local Action Plans for Youth Mental Health in Education developed within MEET show how a common transnational vision can be translated into practical action at local and regional level. Each plan responds to the specific needs, challenges and opportunities of its territory, while contributing to the shared goal of strengthening mental health promotion in formal and non-formal education.
The plans pay particular attention to vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and bring together perspectives from education, youth work, mental health, public authorities and other local stakeholders.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution. The Local Action Plans demonstrate different pathways towards the same goal: creating more supportive, inclusive and mental-health-friendly environments for young people.
