Project meeting and study visit to Reșița, Romania

From September 11-12, 2024, the vibrant city of Reșița, Romania, played host to the MEET project partners for an enriching study visit. Organized by Nevo Parudimos, the event gathered participants from 11 countries, fostering collaboration and showcasing innovative practices in youth mental health care.

Day 1 Highlights:

The visit began with a warm welcome and a presentation on youth-centered practices. A keynote speech by psychotherapist Ioana Cadariu offered valuable insights into mental care services for young people. Field visits followed, including the Social Work Department of Reșița and the ATOR Banatul de Munte initiative. A heartwarming moment came with the visit to the ABC centre, emphasizing inclusive engagement.

Day 2 Focus:

Day two featured intensive discussions on project activities, such as Youth Mental Health Labs and gamified learning tools. Partners reviewed dissemination strategies, financial procedures, and next steps for the project. The session sparked creativity and laid the groundwork for future collaborations.

The visit concluded with strengthened partnerships, actionable insights, and anticipation for the next gathering in Budapest, Hungary, in 2025. Thank you to all participants for making this visit a success!
