NONA Investment Forum in Chisinau, Moldova, December 15, 2025

Chisinau City Hall has the pleasure to invite you to the Interreg NONA Investment Forum, an event dedicated to the NONA Project, financed by the European Union through the Interreg Danube Region Programme and implemented by the Municipality of Chisinau through the General Directorate for Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations.

The NONA Project aims to develop a new multi-level governance model for integrating green investments into sustainable territorial development and for the reuse of degraded post-industrial areas, contributing to urban modernisation and the revitalisation of industrial heritage.

The forum will gather representatives from central and local public authorities, academia, the private sector, and creative industries, providing a platform to discuss sustainable development pathways for the Municipality of Chisinau and explore opportunities to unlock the city’s urban, economic, and cultural potential.

Highlights of the Event:

• Case Study Presentation: "Red Mill – Moara Roșie" – an architectural monument of historical importance, listed in the Register of Monuments of the Republic of Moldova, envisioned as a pilot project for sustainable investment and heritage-value urban revitalisation.

• Future Plans: Overview of upcoming investments, creative industries development, and promotion of sustainable rehabilitation projects in Chisinau.
