Gergely Csézi (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) explored the role of bioplastics like PLA in circular economies, stressing the need for proper separation from conventional plastics. Dr. Márton Tomin (BME) highlighted how smart packaging design can minimize waste and material use, benefiting both the environment and businesses. László Bűdi (MyCeppi Ltd.) addressed common misconceptions about recycling, noting that stable-quality recycled materials are still not readily available at scale.
