1st National Workshop - Slovenian Forestry Institute

On 18.3.2026 The First National Workshop within SCAN-DANUBE Interreg project was organized by Slovenian Forestry Institute in Murska Sobota.

SFI hosted A. Korenjak - representative from Slovenian Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and

Food, D. Zver - representative of Lendava Municipal Community, several representatives of

private forest owners (K.and J. Kolenko, M. Breznikar), representatives of ProSilva Slovenia

(J. Mori and K. Sever), members of Slovenia Forest Service (SFS) and members of Slovenia

Forestry Institute (SFI).

Topic proved to be very actual, especially for the members of SFS and representatives of

private forest owners, which developed an intensive discussion after the official programme

and presentations.

Three individuals representing private forest owners (1), SFS (2) and ProSilva Slovenia (3)

were asked and invited to submit an online survey.

Apart from online survey participants provided also regular survey, the responses will be

evaluated and published in SFS media.

The event is presentatd on social media of SFI, along with presentations and project

information.
