Science Night, 25 September, 2026 - Brno, Czech Republic

On 25 September 2026 the SCAN – DANUBE project team representing MENDELU took part in the hugely popular annual Science Night event, which also featured the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences at Mendel University in Brno.

During Science Night, the general public visits universities and a wide variety of research institutions, giving them the chance not only to explore the university premises and laboratories, but also to learn a great deal and meet experts face to face...

This year’s theme for Science Night was ‘Communication’, so our team had a fantastic opportunity to meet the public – both adults and children – and present our project and our work.
