KICK - OFF meeting, May 2025

On 27 and 28 May 2025, Mendel University hosted the kick-off meeting of the SCAN-DANUBE project, which brought together all project partners.

The first day of the meeting took place at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of Mendel University and was opened by the dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Ing. Libor Jankovský. The guest of honour was Mr. Jan Zámečník, Deputy Governor of the South Moravian Region, who works in the regional administration in the field of regional development. The main points of discussion between the lead partner and the other project partners were the schedule of activities and the setting up of scientific and administrative cooperation.

On Wednesday, 28 May, a field excursion was held in the Czech project pilot areas managed by the ASPs: State Forests of the Czech Republic and the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic.
