4th Slovak National Stakeholders´ Meeting
The 4th Slovak National Stakeholders’ Meeting brought together key actors involved in the implementation of the project, including representatives of the Slovak Business Agency (SBA), energy experts, energy service providers, energy communities, as well as the Slovak Energy and Innovation Agency, with whom the SBA has been working since the beginning of the project.
Hosted by the Slovak Business Agency (SBA), the meeting confirmed the growing momentum around sustainable energy solutions and highlighted the importance of coordinated action across sectors.

Participants were welcomed by Petra Pazerini, Manager of International Activities at SBA, who introduced the programme and opened the session with the latest updates on the SMEnergy project.
A central focus was placed on the SMEnergy pilot programme, designed to test practical tools, expert support, and the online platform for SMEs. The presentation highlighted the growing interest among SMEs in energy transformation and confirmed strong demand for practical, real-life solutions and case studies.
The experience and feedback gained from the pilot phase will serve as a critical foundation for the next phase of the project, which will focus on developing regional sustainability strategies and action plans.
The meeting showcased a series of short, dynamic presentations by stakeholders, demonstrating the diversity and strength of the SMEnergy ecosystem. Topics included:
Financial and consultancy support for SME decarbonisation under the CREDI4CE project
Innovative wind energy technologies developed in cooperation with Slovak manufacturers
Energy communities, digital platforms, and advisory services connecting SMEs and municipalities
Smart battery storage management solutions supporting energy efficiency
Participants were also informed about the upcoming Czech–Slovak Circular Summit, planned for May 2026, which will open further opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
The second part of the programme focused on an open and interactive discussion on the SMEnergy strategy and action plan for 2026. Moderated by Andrej Španik, Manager of International Activities at SBA, stakeholders actively contributed expert insights and recommendations.
Key topics included closer cooperation with municipalities, the development of new SME-focused services, stronger stakeholder networking, support for circular economy principles, and the need to deliver measurable and tangible impacts for SMEs.
The meeting concluded with a clear confirmation of continued cooperation among all stakeholders and strong support for the SMEnergy project and its mission. Participants were invited to update their profiles on the SMEnergy platform and informed about the upcoming Newsletter No. 4, to be published by the end of 2025.
SMEnergy continues to build a collaborative framework that empowers SMEs to adopt innovative energy solutions and move confidently towards a more sustainable future.
