SME Renewable Energy Innovation Event Held in Ruse

On 13 June 2025, the Business Support Centre for SMEs in Bulgaria, together with the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev”, co-organised the Information and Demonstration Event “Renewable Energy Solutions for Residential and Industrial Users”. At the event, the Centre presented the services that the GEKOS centre—established in Ruse on the initiative of the Interreg Danube SMEnergy project—is beginning to offer to interested small and medium-sized enterprises to support their green transition.

The specialised event was dedicated to innovative solutions in the field of renewable energy, aimed at both residential and industrial users. Through a series of presentations, leading experts in the sector shared their knowledge and experience of the latest technologies and trends.

The programme also included a panel discussion, where participants exchanged ideas, discussed challenges facing the industry, and explored joint solutions.

Demonstrations of new products and services were organised, showing how innovations can improve the efficiency and sustainability of energy systems. In total, 37 business representatives and other stakeholders participated in the event.
