AMS Digital Lounges: Practical Knowledge and Tailored Support for Employers

Starting on 23 September 2025, the AMS Digital Lounges will once again take place every second Tuesday. Organized by ÖSB Consulting for AMS Carinthia within the scope of the IQV project, these compact online sessions provide companies with fresh impulses, practical examples and the chance to connect with other employers.

The format is designed especially with small and medium-sized businesses in Carinthia in mind. Many companies in the region have between 25 and 75 employees – and for them, access to reliable, up-to-date knowledge is crucial. The sessions are short enough for busy managers and HR professionals to attend, while still offering meaningful input and opportunities for dialogue.

What makes the Digital Lounges unique is their combination of expert knowledge and practical application. Each event offers more than just a presentation: participants gain tools that can be directly applied in their companies, benefit from opportunities to network with peers, and are introduced to further support options. Many speakers also provide follow-up trainings via the Impuls Qualifizierungsverbund (IQV), allowing businesses to continue working on the issues most relevant to them.

The autumn 2025 program reflects this practical orientation. One session will explore how managers can strengthen their self-leadership in times of rising demands and rapid change, using inner stability, mental self-care and reflection as the basis for effective action. Another focuses on the future competence of “meaning” – showing how organisations can keep employees engaged by making their work feel purposeful, from onboarding to everyday team leadership. A later session shifts to the field of sales, demonstrating how AI tools and emotional intelligence can be combined to optimise customer relationships while maintaining authenticity and trust.

Each session typically attracts 25–30 companies, often more, with invitations reaching several thousand business contacts through the AMS Carinthia business newsletter. The events are free of charge and open to anyone interested, though the main audience consists of HR professionals, company leaders and entrepreneurs.

With a growing network and consistent demand, the AMS Digital Lounges have become a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and employer engagement, particularly in the fields of digital transformation and leadership.
