Terhys project at the River Basins conference in Karlsruhe
Two colleagues from the TU Wien Tethys team participated in June in the River Basins conference to share with the scientific community selected outcomes of the project.
"River Basins“ in an international conference on monitoring, modelling and management of river basins. The event provides "a platform for the exchange of recent progresses and research in the field of river basin management. This includes the quantification of water and mass fluxes, the investigation of processes in river systems and ecological research as well as the implementation of promising management strategies" (For more details see: https://www.riverbasins.kit.edu/).
This year the conference took place in Germany and was hosted by the Institute for Water and Environment - Water Quality Management of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Mathias Zessner presented there the "Coordinated strategy for the transnational control and management of trace contaminants in surface water bodies in the Danube River Basin under changing pressures, challenges and targets", while Severin Osten talked about "PET – An Open-Source Shiny Application for Scalable Quality Assurance and Exploration of Transnational River Basin Monitoring Data".
