Smart & Sustainable Business for Women Entrepreneurs Training Programme is launched

The Smart & Sustainable Business for Women Entrepreneurs training programme officially started with its launch webinar on 22 September 2025. The webinar has already been held, but the recording is available to watch here: Launch Webinar Recording.

Designed to help women build future-ready businesses, the programme combines practical knowledge, digital skills, and the principles of sustainability. It is free, fully online, and open to participants across the Danube Region and beyond.

As a self-paced programme, it allows participants to learn flexibly, anytime and anywhere. To make the training as relevant as possible, each participant begins with a self-assessment test. This helps to tailor the learning path to individual needs and ensures that the knowledge gained can be directly applied in practice.

For the first group of trainees, we are offering a special interactive part between September and November 2025. During this period, learners will not only explore the modules but also take part in a series of live webinars with international experts, providing deeper insights and opportunities for networking and peer exchange.

The programme includes 12 modules:

  1. Circular Economy: Path to Sustainability

  2. Life Cycle of Materials & Waste Management

  3. Business Models in the Circular Economy

  4. EU Environmental Policy, Sustainable Finance and Reporting

  5. How to Make Circular Business

  6. Digital Transformation Foundations

  7. Operational Digital Competences

  8. Digital Persona

  9. Digital Tools for the Circular Economy

  10. Closing the Loop – The Power of Circular Thinking

  11. Effective Communication for Circular Business

  12. Boost Your Potential: Productivity, Mindset and Collaboration

This unique combination of independent learning, tailored training through the self-assessment, and interactive support will give participants the knowledge, tools, and confidence to integrate circular economy principles into their businesses and to grow stronger, more sustainable companies.

Upon successful completion of the modules and the required evaluations, every participant will receive an official Certificate of Achievement. The certificate recognises newly acquired knowledge and skills in business development, digitalisation, and circular economy, and can be a valuable asset in professional growth and entrepreneurship.

The interactive part of the programme continues through November 2025, after which the training materials will remain freely available for all interested learners.

Registration is open at digiedu.unsa.ba.

The initiative is developed under the WE.Circular project, co-funded by the Interreg Danube Region Programme 2021–2027.
