Second call for proposals

The second call for proposals of the Interreg Danube Region Programme was open for proposals targeting seven specific objectives in three programme priorities. We have received 162 applications submitted by the deadline of April 3, 2024.

The period for submissions to the second call for proposals ran from November 2, 2023, to April 3, 2024. Currently, our project officers are assessing 162 received applications. 

This call invited applicants to focus on the programme's specific objectives 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 4.2. The Interreg Danube Region Programme has allocated 38 749 913 EUR for this call.

Eligible applicants included public authorities, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, research organizations, and other relevant stakeholders from the Danube region. Each project had to involve at least three financing project partners from three different countries of the programme area.




Webinars

In October and November 2023, MA/JS organised 8 thematic webinars focusing on programme's specific objectives (SOs) targeted by the second call that each project must contribute to in order to successfully apply. In November 2023, and February 2024, 2 lead applicant webinars were organised, covering essential content related to key features of the call and project generation.
